Seoul, December 16, 2024 - South Korea's LG Chem announced the launch of a new type of flexible pharmaceutical packaging specially designed for pediatric drugs. The packaging is made of food-grade soft plastic, which can be easily torn open by children or parents, and the drug dosage can be accurately controlled by squeezing the packaging.

The packaging also has a fruit flavor coating to mask the bitter taste of drugs, improving children's compliance with medication. The product has passed the South Korean pharmaceutical regulatory authority's certification and will be supplied to major pediatric drug manufacturers in South Korea in 2025.
