Helsinki, November 29, 2024 - Finnish technology company Vaisala developed a new type of smart label for pharmaceutical packaging. The label is embedded with micro sensors that can monitor temperature, humidity, and light intensity in real time, and send early warning information to managers through Bluetooth when the environment exceeds the safe range.

The label has a service life of up to 5 years and can be attached to various pharmaceutical packaging. It is especially suitable for the transportation and storage of high-value biological drugs and vaccines, and can effectively reduce drug loss caused by environmental factors.
