Lisbon, November 27, 2024 - The Portuguese government announced the construction of a pharmaceutical packaging industrial park in Lisbon, with a total investment of 150 million euros. The industrial park will integrate R&D, production, testing and recycling of pharmaceutical packaging, and attract international pharmaceutical packaging enterprises to settle in.

The industrial park is expected to be completed and put into use in 2027, creating more than 2,000 jobs and promoting the development of Portugal's pharmaceutical industry. The Portuguese government will provide tax incentives and infrastructure support for enterprises entering the park.
