Budapest, November 23, 2024 - In recent years, more than 30 EU pharmaceutical packaging enterprises have set up production bases in Hungary, making Hungary an important pharmaceutical packaging production base in the EU. The main reasons include Hungary's low labor costs, preferential tax policies, and convenient transportation to the EU market.

The Hungarian government plans to further improve the supporting industrial chain of pharmaceutical packaging and train professional technical talents to attract more enterprises to settle in. It is expected that the output value of Hungary's pharmaceutical packaging industry will reach 2 billion euros by 2027.
