Sofia, November 21, 2024 - Bulgarian pharmaceutical packaging enterprise PACKBUL developed a new type of low-cost pharmaceutical packaging specially designed for developing countries. The packaging uses locally available raw materials to reduce production costs by 40% while meeting international basic safety standards.

The packaging is mainly used for the packaging of essential drugs such as antibiotics and antimalarial drugs, and has been supplied to African and Southeast Asian countries. It is expected to help improve the accessibility of essential drugs in developing countries and reduce drug waste caused by poor packaging.
