Ljubljana, November 19, 2024 - Slovenian technology company 3DPrintMed developed a new 3D printed customized pharmaceutical packaging technology. The technology can print personalized packaging according to the dosage form, dosage and usage of special drugs, improving the convenience and safety of drug use.

The 3D printed packaging is made of food-grade biodegradable materials, which is environmentally friendly and can be customized on demand. It is mainly used for the packaging of orphan drugs and personalized drugs, and has been tested by Slovenian hospitals with good results.
