Bratislava, November 18, 2024 - The Slovakian Ministry of Economy announced the establishment of a national pharmaceutical packaging testing laboratory, which is the first laboratory in Central Europe to obtain international pharmaceutical packaging certification qualification. The laboratory can provide comprehensive testing services for pharmaceutical packaging materials and products, including barrier performance, safety and environmental protection.

The laboratory will not only serve Slovakian enterprises, but also provide testing services for neighboring countries, helping Central European pharmaceutical packaging enterprises to enter the international market. The construction of the laboratory received a grant of 5 million euros from the EU.
