Riga, November 16, 2024 - Latvian packaging enterprise Latpak developed a new type of moisture-proof pharmaceutical packaging specially designed for tropical regions. The packaging uses a three-layer barrier structure, which can maintain the internal humidity of the packaging below 10% in high humidity environment (relative humidity 90%), effectively protecting drugs from moisture damage.

The packaging is lightweight and cost-effective, and is mainly used for the packaging of drugs exported to Southeast Asia, Africa and other tropical regions. It has passed the tropical climate test and will be put into mass production in 2025.
