Vilnius, November 15, 2024 - Lithuanian packaging enterprise UAB Pakait developed a new type of oxygen-free pharmaceutical packaging, which can completely isolate oxygen from the packaging interior, extending the shelf life of oxygen-sensitive drugs by 50%.

The packaging uses a special oxygen absorption material and a hermetic sealing process, and is suitable for the packaging of antibiotics, vitamins and other oxygen-sensitive drugs. It has been tested by Lithuanian pharmaceutical companies and can reduce drug waste caused by expiration by 30%.
