Nicosia, November 12, 2024 - Cypriot packaging enterprise PackCy developed a new type of radiation-sterilized pharmaceutical packaging, which can be sterilized by gamma radiation without affecting the performance of the packaging and the safety of the drugs inside.

The packaging is mainly used for the packaging of sterile medical devices and injectable drugs, and the sterilization effect can reach 100% sterility assurance level (SAL). It has passed the EU medical device certification and will be supplied to the European medical market in 2025.
