Monaco, November 9, 2024 - The 2024 Global Pharmaceutical Packaging Summit was held in Monaco, attracting more than 1,000 representatives from pharmaceutical packaging enterprises, research institutions and regulatory authorities around the world. The summit focused on the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical packaging industry, including green materials, circular economy and carbon neutrality.

At the summit, representatives released the "Monaco Declaration on Sustainable Pharmaceutical Packaging", committing to reducing the carbon footprint of pharmaceutical packaging by 50% by 2030 and achieving 100% recyclable or biodegradable packaging by 2040.
