Washington, December 21, 2024 - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officially approved a new intelligent pharmaceutical packaging technology developed by American Packaging Corporation. The packaging is embedded with a micro sensor that can real-time monitor the temperature and humidity of the packaging interior, and send early warning information when the environment exceeds the safe range.

This technology is particularly suitable for the packaging of biological drugs and vaccines that are sensitive to temperature and humidity. It can effectively reduce the loss of drugs during transportation and storage, and improve the safety of drug use. The technology is expected to be widely used in the US pharmaceutical market in 2025.
